Million-Dollar Throw, revolves around the genre Sports Fiction. This book is about a kid named Nate Brodie and his fist clinching adventure. Nate Brodie is a thirteen year old star quarterback. He loves the sport of football and has now came across a chance only one person will ever get to participate in. Nate, is a huge New England Patriots fan, but most of all a Tom Brady fan. He admires Tom and looks up to him every day of his life. Nate has been saving up his life's savings to buy, The Brady Ball. The Brady Ball is a footbal,l signed by Tom Brady in a nearby mall. When Nate buys this ball, the clerk at the mall offers Nate to sign up for The Million Dollar Throw. This contest of the winner of the drawing to throw a football from thirty yards away at halftime of the Patriot's game on Thanksgiving night. If completed, the winner collects one million dollars. When Nate finds out that he has won the drawing, stress and pressure is dropped onto his head. Nate knows how much this money will help his family out considering he knows how behind his parents are on bills and how soon their house will be taken by the bank due to the lack of payments are being made. That's not the only pressure he is coming across though. The media is all over him also at practices and games. His best friend, Abby, is becoming blind and Nate is focused on her more than anything. The last thing that is worrying Nate is the way he has been playing in his games before the Million Dollar Throw. He has been missing his easy passes, thinking too much, and also was sat in one of his games. He is losing confidence in himself, but still pushes to help his family and friends. Thanksgiving night is coming soon and Nate will soon make that throw that may change his and his family and friends lives forever.
